Yes, you can replace it yourself. You only need to purchase another sisal rope with a thickness of 5mm-6mm and a length of 100-150 ft. When replacing it, tie a knot to tie the lower hem and wrap it from bottom to top. When wrapping it, tighten it and compact it. Apply a little hot melt glue (any quick-drying glue will do) every 5-10 turns for fixation, and finally tie a knot at the top (to prevent the cat below from biting the knot)
