Roll a meal's worth of food inside before you leave, close it with the hook-and-loop and snap button, and carry a combined food container and bowl in one item that weighs 3.5 ounces and fits in any pack pocket. On arrival, unroll the bowl, pour in what you packed, and your dog eats from the same bowl. The seamless waterproof PEVA interior liner holds water without leaking at the seam the way stitched fabric bowls do. Fill it from a stream, a spigot, or a cooler and it holds the full 10-cup capacity without dripping. The 500-denier CORDURA nylon shell holds up through daily pack-in and pack-out field conditions and repeated rolling and unrolling without losing its shape or structure.
