The suction power will be affected because the black sponge/hippie and hose are clogged with hair or debris. Please take out the sponge and haipa and clean it, make sure the grooming vacuum's filter and attachments are clearnand the hose is free.

Why is the machine overheating and unable to start properly?
Full dust box increases airflow resistance, triggering thermal protection. Overheating may prevent startup. If so, unplug, clean box and filter. Air outlet at bottom; do not place on carpet to avoid overheating.
