This leash provides two unique functions:
- As a slip lead: It stops pulling by applying pressure to the neck, loosening the moment the dog slows down.
- As a headcollar: It applies gentle pressure to the snout when the dog pulls, safely turning their head to stop forward momentum.
Size Reference:
- Recommended for medium to large dog breeds, or dogs of a similar size to those shown in the pictures below.
- Not recommended for dangerous dogs that require heavy confinement, such as basket muzzle and short leash.
Training Tips:
- When Using As a Slip Lead: If your dog pulls, stop walking and plant your feet. Let them learn that tension on the leash gets them nowhere. Once your dog settles and the leash goes slack, resume walking and reward them after they walk nicely next to you for at least a few minutes, this ensures they associate the treat with a loose leash, not the act of pulling.
- When Using As a Headcollar: If the slip lead isn't effectively stopping your dog from pulling, switch to the headcollar function. This mode works by a different mechanic: it controls the direction of your dog's head rather than applying pressure to the neck. When your dog pulls, stop and gently guide the leash to turn their nose back to you. This takes away their forward power and forces them to focus on you. Once they face you and the leash goes slack, praise them, resume walking, and reward them after some successful steps.

Slide the 8 ring to create two loops if you want to use the headcollar.
Step 2
Place the first loop on dog's neck.
Step 3
Place the other loop around dog's snout, then adjust the 8 ring for ideal tightness.
Step 4
Slide adjust the leather piece for the neck loop tightness and you're all set!
