What is the difference between U-40 and U-100 insulin and syringes?
U-40 insulin has 40 units of insulin per milliliter of liquid, and U-100 has 100 units of insulin per milliliter of liquid. Be sure to follow your veterinarian’s instructions when choosing an insulin syringe.
- HALF-UNIT MARKINGS: Dose unit markings in half-unit increments for pets who require small or half-unit doses.
- SILICONE LUBRICATION: We add a layer of microbonded lubrication to help the needle glide into the skin for a comfortable injection for your diabetic dog or cat.
- MICRO POLISHED: Each needle is polished to a smooth finish, removing any very small blemishes that could occur during the manufacturing process and that could cause painful skin tearing.
- ACCURATE DOSING: Bold dose unit markings and large barrel flanges for accurate dosing and easy grip and control.
